1. 对词汇要求加深

由上面的例题结合官方文档可以看出,新GRE填空对词汇的要求进一步加深。这主要体现在两个方面:

首先是词汇考查范围扩大。由于题型设置的改变,导致考生必须明确选项中所有单词的含义才能有效做题,同时,样题中出现了许多老GRE填空题中从来没有出现的新词。

其次是对词汇的理解要求更为精确。一些单词有好几重含义,需要考生通过上下文来判断题目中具体是什么含义。
