雅思口语Part2话题范文:sb/sth that made you laugh

You should say:

what this news was

when and where you heard it

how you heard it

and explain why you think it was good news

参考范文:

After I finished my graduation, I applied for 2-3 jobs and faced the interviews in these companies. One day I got a phone call from one of the companies from the HR department and the caller confirmed that I was hired for the job I applied for. This was a very exciting and good news for me as I was expecting to start a job so eagerly.

I did not know the person who called me at that time but later I found that he was the head of the human resources department of the company and his name was Kane. I heard it in (…say a year i.g. 2004…) and it was probably June.

My parents and relatives wanted me to get involved in a job right after my graduation and I felt the same. Some of my classmates were already doing jobs and I thought I should start a job as well. After I got the job confirmation call, I was very excited and happy. The first job confirmation in my opinion is very significant and exhilarating and I felt no less. I was so happy that I instantly confirmed that I’d be joining the job from the next week. Then I shared the news with my parents and sisters and they were very happy as we.

雅思口语Part2话题范文:a time that you were waiting for something

You should say:

When and where it happened

who you were with

what you were waiting for

and explain how you felt about it

参考范文:

About five years ago I visited several friends in Guiyang for a few days. At the end of my stay I got a taxi to the airport, checked in and made my way through airport security. I was booked onto a flight that was scheduled to depart from Guiyang at around three o’clock and arrive back in Xi’an after about two and a half hours. Shortly after I arrived in the departures lounge, I heard an announcement that my flight would be delayed due to bad weather and that I should stay in the departures lounger and await further information. Fortunately, I had my laptop with me so I was able to do some outstanding computer work while I waited. Throughout the afternoon I continued to hear announcements about the delay.

Finally, at about ten o’clock airport staff informed me that the plane wouldn’t be arriving until the next day and that I should book myself into the nearby airport hotel for the night. Once in my hotel room I had a shower and began getting ready for bed. I had only been in bed for a few minutes when there was a knock on the door. To my surprise a member of staff explained that I needed to return to the airport as my plane had finally arrived and would soon be departing for Xi’an. Finally, after a delay of more than ten hours, I boarded the flight in the early hours of the morning and began my journey back home.

When I think about this experience, I still feel a bit angry because planes kept delaying and I could do nothing about it. Also, I had that a mixed feeling that in front of Mother Nature, our human kind is so small and frail. We could build big planes but we can’t fight against the bad weather.

雅思口语Part2话题范文:Describe a recent change of you

You should say:

what it was

when caused it

what do you do for the change

and explain how do you feel about it

参考范文:

would like to talk about the time I first moved to Changsha for college. It’s one of the major changes in my life till now I have to say.

Firstly, I was born in the north of China. We have drier winter, while Changsha, which is a southern city is probably the most humid city in the world. The constant rain is killing me. And the food in Changsha is too spicy and salty for me. I am not used to having too many spices and chili in the food. Also, I can’t really understand the local language.

Besides, college study is totally different from high school study, including in study methods and subjects. For example, you don’t have anyone to supervise you or motivate you on your own things. You can only rely on yourself.

Another significant change for me is the living environment. I used to live with my parents and have my own room, while in college, I have to live with 5 other girls in a small dormitory. We even don’t have a private bathroom. It’s utterly inconvenient when you have to share the bathroom with so many other people, like more than 70 people.

To conclude, I am still adapting myself to the new environment and the new life. Like people always say, we’ll have to embrace the change.

雅思口语Part2话题范文:Describe TV series you like

you should say:

what the TV series are

who act these series

what is the plot

and explain how you feel about it

参考范文:

11.22.63 is a new personal favourite. I've never been a huge fan of Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones or any of those huge series that seem to captivate pretty much everyone I know. BUT, 11.22.63 is different, and so far it's keeping me on the edge of my seat.

It's a very clever show, it really plays on the idea of things like the butterfly effect but not in a complicated way, in-fact the whole time travelling side of the show is very nicely explained in the first episode! The cinematography, directing, script, screenplay and the acting are all very tight. It's not particularly violent or too rude, there is use of strong language but it's split up and is used more as a means of conveying emotion than just for the sake of having bad language in a show. It draws you in straight away, no silly elongated dialogue or anything like that; within 10 minutes of episode one, the main character (who is very capably played by James Franco) is already catapulted back in time ... and the rest is history (so too speak).

It's produced by Stephen King and J.J Abrams who are masters of this kind of concept; it's eerie, suspenseful and really engrossing. There are a lot of very "Stephen King moments" which remind me of his other works.

It's a very intriguing watch and i'm really into it, and like I said i'm not usually a big fan of all these mega-popular TV series so even i'm surprised at just how much i'm enjoying it! If you're looking for a fast paced drama/thriller which is superbly produced, you have to see this.

"I need you to go back there ... and I need you to prevent the assassination of John F Kennedy" - 11.22.63

雅思口语Part2话题范文:a painting or an artwork that you remember

You should say:

what it was

when you saw it

what you knew about it

and explain why you liked it

参考范文:

It was a mural painted on the side of an old building downtown I saw many years ago, and I knew the painter from my childhood.

I liked it for many reasons. One was that the creator had been a neighbour of mine when we were kids. He was always drawing with chalk on the streets, on his driveway or the side of his house. I remember thinking one day he may be famous! It made me happy to know he now was, as this painting had been authorized by the local government in order to bring attention to a new facility being built nearby.

I liked the wonderful colours he used on the plain, brown brick building. This old part of the city had been drab and decaying for years. William's mural, full of reds, yellows and bright blues created a brand new environment which gave renewed life to the area designed to attract a younger generation downtown.

I also enjoyed the message this painting expressed to those who saw it which was "old styles can be re-born", exactly the theme of the new development being built.

Finally, I really got a kick out of seeing my long-time friend's name at the bottom of this awesome mural, and knowing that many others who passed by would now know his name and appreciate his ability to be so creative. I was very proud of him and his dedication to his love of painting.
