Protecting the environment is everyone's duty.How should we do?I think we should do the follwings.Firstly,we should drive less,walk more,and often ride bikes.Secondly,we should have low-carbon lifestyle,so as to reduce the pollution of the atmosphere,slow the deterioration of the ecological environment.We can use energy saving lamps,reduce the time of shower,save water,and turn off the lights when leaveing the room.We can recycle paper,books,and leave the books to the students in the lower grades for using.At last,when we go shopping,we should bring bags,not using plastic bags and less using paper towels.

Yet,with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products are still put into rivers.We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate, in a few years, there wont be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems?If we eat more vegetables and less meat, there will be more food available. Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept.Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recyciethem.
The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control.Finally, if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future.

First,we should plant more trees to keep water,which can also make our city beautiful.Second,we can ride a bike or walk to the school and work.In this way,we not only save energy,but also reduce the air pollution.Third,we should stop factories from pouring waste water into the river and waste gas into the air.Fourth,protecting environment should start with me.It's every one 's duty to protect the environment.Whenever we see litter on the ground,we should pick it up and throw it into dusbins.Never spit in public.Don’t draw on public walls.
All in all,a good environment is very important for us.We should summon more people to protect the environment.
