Why are they so anxious about the food safety problems?Absolutely answer is the problems concern their physical health.Most importantly,inability of regulatory authorities to solve the problems makes them more fearful.In my opinion,food safety problem has a significant effect on the social stability.
To figure out this matter,government and masses ought to be together in an effort to find ways out.First of all,there must be effective regulations to block the source of profit of the operator like tightening inspection of accounts and taxes.Secondly,treat the masses as a smart inspector.Clean off obstacles and accept the complaints of consumers.At last,the government should hold a press conference periodically to release the progress of governance activities.
For above reasons, the food safety problem is a long-term undertaking which needs everyone’s striving.And we must move right now!

In 1974 the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization(FAO) sounds the alarm bell to globe for the first time in the world food summit,first proposed the “food security” problem. In June 20__, the FAO and the World Health Organization convened the global food safety Conference consumer associations from 25 countries, hoped to take the national consumers ' Association played a greater role in promoting food security, prompting the Government to focus on food safety issues.
The Kingdom of Lesotho is one of the least developed countries, is located in southern Africa, is a landlocked country. The amount of food can not be guaranteed due to the drought caused food shortages brought about a severe famine.Food security has become an important issue. .However, in Africa, there are many countries like my own country, people's hunger becomes an important factor in food safety.On this issue, my Government believes that:

Last month, I witnessed a food poisoning accident happening to my classmates. At that time the situation was really very dangerous and urgent.
Though finally they got out of danger, this accident is still vivid in my mind.
That day was Julie’s birthday, one of my classmates. In order to celebrate it, her roommates bought a big birthday cake
for her from a supermarket nearby. They shared the cake happily. However, after a while, all of them felt abdominal pain, nausea and dizziness. Two of them even
cannot stand up because of great pain. We rushed to send them to the hospital. It turned out that the cake they ate had expired its guarantee period. Futunately, due to timely treatment, they all recovered very soon.
However, this accident leaves me a deep ponder. I think it is very urgent to take effective measures to improve food safety.
Firstly, the government should strengthen supervision and administration on food safety. More importantly, to those who immoral businessmen, more strict punishment should be given.
