The famous person I’m interested in is Hua Chenyu, one of the most popular singers in China. I knew him from an anecdote on the social platform Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter that he has a child with his girlfriend without getting married and it went viral online. It was reported that before he became famous, he was really tenacious. you know, he once failed his college entrance examination, but he never gave up and retook the Gao Kao. Luckily, he finally made it and was successfully admitted by Wuhan Conservatory of Music (武汉音乐学院), one of the nine independent conservatories in China, which was his dream university.

Even if he is incredibly famous now, he never stops working hard. It’s said that he usually holds three or even four concerts in a single day. It’s never hard to imagine how exhausted he must be.
